Dr. Séan Cummings

MBBS, DRCOG, DFFP, LLM, MRCGP

Séan qualified in 1986 at University College London. He has very wide experience working in Paediatrics; Obstetrics and gynaecology; Accident Emergency Medicine and General Medicine. He became a GP in 1990. Séan’s main interests are in Sexual Health and also careful reconstructive aesthetics for patients with facial wasting due to disease such as HIV or cancers. With over 20 years of experience in medicine he is convinced that a very personal approach is the key to a good doctor-patient relationship.

   
Dr José González-García

Dr. José González-García

MBBS, LMS, MRCP, DRCOG, DCH, T (GP), FFPHM, PhD

José qualified as a medical doctor in 1991 at the Universities of Aachen, in Germany, and Oviedo, in Spain. In 1993 he moved to London, where he completed his post-graduate training, becoming a GP in 1999. During this time, he obtained the Diploma of Child Health, the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians. José has always been involved in research and has published several scientific papers. He also has a PhD in cancer research. In 2005 he completed an MSc in Public Health & Infectious Diseases, field that has now become one of his main clinical interests. Due to this wide experience, he has worked for different international organisations as a medical advisor and has travelled all over the world. José is fluent in Spanish, German, French and Italian.

   
Dr Mervyn Tyrer

Dr. Mervyn Tyrer

MB BCh(Wits) Dip in HIV Medicine

Mervyn qualified as a Medical Doctor in 1989 at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. In 1994 he moved to London where he joined The Royal Free Hospital in London as a Senior House Officer working within the HIV and Thoracic medicine department. In 2003 Mervyn successfully gained a Diploma in HIV Medicine and became an Associate Specialist at the Royal Free Hospital within the Department of HIV, infection and Immunity. Additionally Mervyn is a General Practitioner at the Royal Free with a wealth of experience in General Practice and Minor Surgery.

 
Fiona Boag

Dr. Fiona Boag

Dr Fiona Boag has been Consultant in HIV and GUM at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital since 1991. She has a particular interest in Women's Services and also antibiotic resistance in genito-urinary infections.
